Free Pascal (FPC Pascal) is a 32 bit Pascal compiler. The language syntax is semantically compatible with TP 7.0 as well as most versions of Delphi (classes, rtti, exceptions, ansistrings, widestrings, and interfaces). Furthermore, Free Pascal supports function overloading, operator overloading, and global properties. Free Pascal is a free, it's portable and open source. The compiler is intended for Pascal and Object Pascal languages. It supports a number of dialects, including Turbo Pascal and Delphi. Besides that, it suppports some Mac Pascal constructs. Free Pascal is available on many operating systems, including Mac, Linux, Win32 and Win64. It has excellent integration capabilities for assembly language. |
