FreeMeter is a utility that helps you keep track of your system's resources, by monitoring, in real time, disk space usage, CPU usage, memory usage, and disk transfer rates. FreeMeter can be used for observing your computer's activity or for diagnosing technical problems. You can customize the display to show just the information you're interested in. You also can place icons in the system tray that depict system usage. This simple, free program monitors RAM and CPU usage in real time. You can choose to run FreeMeter at start-up so you can monitor your system at all times, or just run it when you want. Upon launch, two graphs tick by, measuring your CPU usage and your current disk usage. You also can see the amount of RAM in use, how much you have left, and the total amount. |
